Jordan P. Grossman, DPM
Director, PM&S-36 Residency Education
Chief, Section of Podiatry
St. Vincent Charity Hospital

Dr. Grossman graduated from Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA and received a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1993. He completed a three year surgical residency program at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He went on to graduate from two fellowships, one in Diabetic Limb Salvage at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA and an International AO/ASIF Fellowship in Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospital Ulm, Germany.

Dr. Grossman has remained intimately involved with post graduate education since completing his training. He was the director of the Diabetic Limb Salvage fellowship from 1997-1999 and served on the residency training committee at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. In addition to serving as the Director of Podiatric Surgical Residency and Chief of the section of Podiatry at St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital, Dr. Grossman also serves on the Orthopaedic Surgery Teaching Staff for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. Dr. Grossman has been appointed a Clinical Assistant Professor of Podiatry in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

Dr. Grossman has published several articles and contributed to many textbooks throughout his career. He is a nationally recognized accomplished lecturer, speaking on several topics including foot and ankle trauma, adult and adolescent reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic limb salvage. He serves on the peer review committee for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is active with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has been appointed to several ACFAS committees and recently served as the Chairman for the Annual Scientific Conference.

Dr. Grossman is a diplomat and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Grossman is in private practice with the Northeast Ohio Orthopaedic Associates in Akron, OH.


Shane Manning, DPM

Dr. Manning received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Weber State University in 1997.   He was certified as a M.T., ASCP and worked in a Trauma I Hospital Laboratory for 3-years.  He then went on to pursue and received a
Doctorate at Des Moines University (CPMS) in 2002, where he graduated with distinctive honors.  He successfully completed a three-year surgical residency program at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, OH, under the direction of Gerard V. Yu, D.P.M.  There he was involved in multiple research projects and contributed to a number of articles.

Dr. Manning remains committed to podiatric education of both students and residents.  He is active with the NPPME, which prepares and reviews exams for boards part I, II, and III.  He is also the vice-president of the Cleveland Podiatry Foundation, which supports the residency program at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and expands the educational opportunities for the residents there.

Dr. Manning is currently in private practice with a multi-specialty group.  His special areas of interest include, wound care, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, and limb salvage.  He is currently working as part of a team at the Joslin Center (St. Vincent Charity Hospital), in order to provide for the needs of diabetic patients who obtain medical treatment at the Center.

Dr. Judge received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She completed her academic and clinical instruction through Hill Crest Hospital Institute for Nuclear Medicine Technology in Cleveland, Ohio where she became certified in Nuclear Medicine and later became a board certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). She worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation both in clinical nuclear medicine imaging and research in renovascular hypertension and nephrology under the direction of Dr. Joseph Nally. She then went on to receive her Doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1994 where she graduated with distinctinve honors such as the Wally Wiseman Award for surgical excellence. She was the 1st female in Ohio to be accepted into and complete a 3-year fellowship in major reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. This surgical residency was completed under the auspices of Dr. Gerard V. Yu in 1997 while at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. With Dr. Yu, she has contributed a number of articles and research projects to medical literature. She has since become board certified in reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (APBS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). She holds a faculty position at Mercy Hospital Health Systems in Toledo, Ohio where she participates in lecturing to both the medical staff and residents and interns in all facets of medicine. Her emphasis over the years has been in the direction of academics, research and lecturing throughout the USA.

Dr. Judge has published several articles and contributed to many books throughout the course of her career. She has 15 published works and numerous articles in preparation. She has contributed to the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery (JFAS) in peer review since 2001 and has most recently been elected to serve as the Section Editor in Fore Foot Reconstructive Surgery for JFAS. Additionally, she serves as a contributing editor to the Journal of the American Podiatric and Medical Association (JAPMA). In recognition of her academic contributions via both continuing medical education reviews and feature articles, she has been elected to serve on the advisory board for the periodical Podiatry Today for which she has been a contributing editor for a number of years. She is a regular a columnist for Healthy Living News, (editor LeMoyne Mercer, Phd), a publication distributed widely throughout northwest Ohio. In addition, she is a principal author of the chapter on Chronic Ankle Conditions in McGlamry's Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery, third edition.

As an innovator in her field, Dr. Judge has received many honors and awards. Among them are: The William J. Stickle Gold Award for Research, The Wally Wiseman Award for Surgical Excellence, and the National Collegiate Student Government Award. Dr. Judge was listed in Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges for three consecutive years.

An active participant in the medical community, Dr. Judge has been a member of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association and served as president of the Northeast Ohio Podiatric Medical Association in 2000. She has been the scientific chair of the Annual Seminar on the Bay, Maumee Bay Resort in Oregon Ohio since its inception in 2000. As an athletic enthusiast, she also serves as the official foot and ankle physician for the Jamie Farr-Owens Corning Classic LPGA Golf Tournament. Her private practice has an emphasis on complicated surgical conditions, second opinions in elective and revisional surgery as well as chronic pain in the lower extremity.
